TOPIC: Advanced Legal Research

Westlaw is an online legal research service and proprietary database for lawyers and legal professionals available in over 60 countries. Information resources on Westlaw include more than 40,000 databases of case law, state and federal statutes, administrative codes, newspaper and magazine articles, public records, law journals, law reviews, treatises, legal forms and other information resources.

A Westlaw representative will be presenting a CLE on advanced legal research using the Westlaw platform. Build skills to quickly identify the most relevant results and get to the heart of your issues more quickly. The training will focus on natural language vs terms and connectors, field searching, digest searches, KeyCite limits, and looking at your research trail.

All interested legal professionals are welcome to attend this CLE event! 

COST:  $20.00 Members, $30.00 Non-Members

(1) hour CLE credit will be given for this luncheon. Certificate of attendance will be distributed at the end of the event, after having remained in attendance for the required minimum 50 minutes.
