JALA needs volunteers to help in the October 15th Advanced Directives Event.

At each event, a pro bono attorney, along with a paralegal or law student, will create a set of advance directive documents with the senior and will fully execute the documents.  JALA will have notaries present so that the package of documents are complete before the senior leaves his/her appointment.  Each attorney will serve 2-4 seniors during the event.  You'll get the document templates ahead of time so that you can familiarize yourself with them and remember that we have an educational webinar that will provide a substantive foundation - let me know if you'd like the webinar.
