Speaker: Dr. Lantie Jorandby

Topic: COVID and The Mental Health Health and Substance Abuse Crisis

Dr. Jorandby graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience. She attended medical school and completed her residency at the University of Florida.  After completing her an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at Yale University, Dr. Jorandby became Medical Director for the dual diagnosis unit at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts. She also served as faculty at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry. After relocating to Washington, DC, Dr. Jorandby worked as the Chief Psychiatrist of a mental and physical health clinic, where she held the position for four years before joining Lakeview Health. Dr. Jorandby one of less than 200 physicians in the United States who is dual board certified in addiction medicine, and psychiatry and neurology.

RSVP deadline:  Tuesday, December 14, 2021 by NOON. Zoom call in information will be provided via email to all of those registered on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

(1) hour Non-Substantive credit, NALA approved, will be given for virtual meeting.   Certificate of attendance will be distributed upon receipt of payment by NEFPA,  confirmed registration, and after having remained in attendance for the required minimum 50 minutes.
