Speaker: Nanette Cruz, Esquire with Reese Legal
Topic: Social Security Disability Insurance: Qualifications and What You Need To Know
Nanette Cruz attended law school at Florida A&M University College of Law, and graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctorate. While a student at FAMU, Nanette was involved with the Student Bar Association, the Hispanic American Law Student Association and was inducted to FAMU’s Law Review. She was awarded the Dean’s Top Performer Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List.
After graduating from law school and admission to the Florida Bar, she began practicing several areas of law including, Social Security Disability Claims and Federal Appeals. Today, Nanette continues her efforts by representing individuals who need disability benefits. She has served as a Guardian ad Litem for the Orange County Legal Aid Society representing children in need and as an attorney advisor for Orange County Teen Court.

(1) hour credit, NALA approved, will be given for virtual meeting. Certificate of attendance will be distributed upon receipt of payment by NEFPA, confirmed registration, and after having remained in attendance for the required minimum 50 minutes.
